After 5 years out of the spotlight, one of Canada's most accoladed hip hop artists, Sikadime is back and in full action with the upcoming release of his new album "Going The Distance" (due out March 31, 2017). With the first single "Calm Your Tit" reaching airwaves from Miami to Toronto and the UK, it was recieved as a warm welcoming return for the artist.

With special guest DJ - DJ Unknown of Tru-Paz and fellow respected artists Trace Motivate (Toronto), Chezza (Brampton), Sean Hales (Guelph) and Friday Ricky Dred (Toronto), these artists recently released highly praised albums in the last bit of 2016 and early 2017.

Trace Motivate of Grindhouse Project recently released his latest solo project "Bored, Lonely & Possibly Intoxicated" to critical acclaim. "Trace has the lyrical skill to make you want to play that line over again so you really get it, and the ability to paint a vivid picture bringing his experiences to life" - DJ Sub-T (Hip Hop Authority)

Chezza released his album "I Am" with high praised in the summer of 2016 but still continues to make noise, especially with the single "Don't Call Me Nigga" being banned from Facebook postings. "On his latest release, the double album called “i am…”, CheZZa showcases what happens when he brings all his influences into one project. With features and productions from various artists across North America, and South Africa, CheZZa has made his own lane within the Hip Hop community in Canada." - Kr33pShow (2 High Media)

Friday Ricky Dred is a Toronto hip hop og. A verteran in the Canadian scene, the Urbnet Records artist teamed up with producer Big Tweeze for an incredible ep "Shift" released in the last quarter of 2016. The Cazhmere produced music video for "Hungry" featuring T Gramz is one to look out for.

Accompanied by upcoming artists Sean Hales, Jor'Del Downz & Jet Lyse, and DJ Unknown of Tru-Paz holding down the 1's & 2's the Canadian hip hop scene is going to be live and well in Toronto at The Nocturne
